Samsung approached Headstream to maximise the exposure of their fantastic branded content on www.samsungfootball.co.uk - a unique website giving behind the scenes access into Chelsea FC.

Headstream proposed a social media optimisation campaign to drive traffic to the site, generate sign-ups for competitions at the same time opening the brand up to conversation amongst all football fans and Chelsea FC supporters.

The strategy began with a full pitch inspection of the social media landscape to identify key social network platforms, forums, blogs and communities where a discussion around football, Chelsea FC and sport in general takes place.

Using social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, we optimised all website content and distributed this content amongst targeted communities and key influencers.

Our savvy use of Twitter created fantastic engagement amongst Chelsea fans and highlighted brand advocates for Samsung.

At the same time through broad social media optimisation we achieved the client's key objective of driving traffic to the site.

As a result social media outperformed traffic driven to the site through paid-for media spend and increased search engine rankings for Samsung football. This is a fantastic example of a successful social media campaign.
