Following a rigorous pitch process earlier in the year Tourism Flanders recently appointed us to handle its online PR activity.

The brief was to improve awareness of Flanders and create interest in the key cities of Flanders as travel destinations and an essential part of this was to drive traffic to the Visit Flanders website.

During the first few months of working with Tourism Flanders we have set up numerous promotions and secured editorial coverage with high-traffic portals and targeted websites. We have also liaised on the organisation of press trips with journalists in order to give sites added value and help incentivise high profile coverage.

The introduction of an attention-grabbing e-newsletter entitled Flanders News has proved to be another successful method of updating Tourism Flander's registered users with the latest offers and encouraging traffic to the website.
